Ok, here's the deal, I have a 59 caddy factory tripower intake, what carbs does it use? I know they're Rochester, but are they the 2GC. I have been searching for info on the net, but I'm coming up with mostly mid sixties pontiac stuff. All I know about the stock setup is that it's vacuum operated, are the carb bases different? Air horns different? These are a couple of things that are supposed to be important, at least according to the pontiac pages that I saw.
The Caddy 3x2 uses 3 Rochester 2GC carbs. If I remember correctly the center carb is a small base, while the outer carbs are the larger base design. The GM part numbers I show are 7013003 or 7013035 for the outer carbs and 7013034 or 7013037 for the center carb. Hope that helps!
