I took a close look at that Tempest. My 1st job out of HS was at Bill Barry Pontiac in Santa Ana, which was lettered on the rear quarters.

Sorry about the shooting the bootlegs, I didn't know, hell I didn't even talk to those folks, had I known they were bootlegs I probably would have said something. As for the RPU no apology there, it still kicks ass, I couldn't see it not take a pic....

 

Z...Just givin you a hard time. Everybody knows who the real So What gang is and I'm glad the new owner is using the RPU. It looks good with the covers on the bed and cab.

Ya that's right DooWop... they did a lot to support the drag racers at OCIR. I remember a marine who had one of the last GTOs based on the ventura/nova, with a stout 455 in it. He was comped all sorts of stuff just for running Bill Barry Pontiac on his car.

 

I should have known it wasn't near cold enough for you guys.
And it's good to see the RPU is being driven, not as hard, but driven none the less...

We started about the same time then. I loved So Cal until the name was bought by Chapouris. I guess it's a good thing we're on opossite sides of the country.
