OK.... It gets better... His reserve is set at 65,000.00 I called him up (he is my wife's cousins husband) and told him I saw his auction. He really thinks the car is worth what he is asking. He also thinks that the bid on the car is serious. I tried to enlighten him but he only got irritated. I told him that he should post more pics... Maybe he could get 75k for it then... Ha Ha what a tool.. I guess his first auction will be a flop.. If you want to have some fun with him... use his name in your emails.. His name is GILL.....EVILT

  2. If I had $44k to spend, I'd buy a bigger trailer house, and a fridge with a beer tapper built in on the back porch!:D ,,,and...... (thinking, thinking), one for the front porch too!

Well,I didn't call hime Gill, but I did ask him this: Nice car from the single picture. Meaning no disrespect, but NADA high book value on your car, if it has factory air and the 383/345HP engine is $11,300. What makes your car worth this much, please? Tee hee

  6. a bowl of crack, a six pack, and six hours of Barrett-Jackson talking smack?

Even Old Cars Price Guide says $22K - that for a #1, hermetically sealed in a plasic bag the day it came off the ***embly line, as new car with original air in the tires, original oil in the motor, original muffler bearings and headlight fluid, car.

This is what I asked him...

Hey GILL - is this the craziest auction since the sighting of the Virgin Mary on a grilled cheese sandwich or what? or maybe even crazier than William Shatners nose hair clippings..? or Bea Arthur's **** mole?

I always thought that model was as close as you could get to the Batmobile even though the Batmobile was built on an old Lincoln ch***is and totally fabricated. I often wondered if Barris got his inspiration from it.

Q: Hi - wow what a great car! To those criticizing your price, they are free to try to find another one as nice for a lower price and then buy it. Stick...more

A: Thank you!! Again, I couldn't have said it better myself! Have a great day!

    hahahahhaha!
Doesnt even know when someone is yankin his ****!

  14. Love watching this, BUT, someone has GOT to let us know what happened when he finds out that the bid is phony and he still has to pay the insertion fees (and possibly the transaction fee, which is a percentage of final bid price).

Not that I would recommend this, but doesn't this guy scream out for a Nigerian scam??

Finally, look at his pic AFTER lightening with PS. Note the dent in the front fender...

Hey, aren't the wheels on this car the imitation wire basket variety from the 70's. Not original??????????

  17. If it sells, it's nothing more than a low-tech money laundering scheme..........

  18. Whatever.............It's getting a lot more attention, and consequently will sell for more than a normal listing, (if not this time, next time) due to that.

Or........what-if? It's loaded with coke, and the 44g is a code of some sort.

or......maybe a secret message from osama???

Look at his feedback now...seems since yesterday he has purchased a trunk lid lock for it, wonder what else it is missing? Oh and the tires look mismatched, whitewall on front and black wall on back.....?!??!!???!!! Reguardless of the price, the car seems to be overly mis-represented and Im guessing this guy does not know the legal recourse something like that can cause.

I think this auction should be a good tutorial for those who might be thinking about buying a vehicle off ebay, look at the sellers feedback score and what they have bought in the past then ask as many questions as you can think of, TWICE!!. Keep everything in a speparate email folder...like your questions and the sellers response. I bought a motorcycle off ebay and had to drive to get it....I asked all of the proper stuff but was still bitting my nails on the trip all the way down to get it...luckly the seller was honest and I got what I expected.
