Sorry if any of these are duplicated. I spent the rest of Saturday and most of today hanging out in Boston, practicing urban photography. But it was a great show, thanks to Paul for inviting us, and nice meeting the various other HAMBers. I spent most of the time gathering detail shots for my own A, so if you wanna see more, just ask. If you wanna know who owns what, ask Paul - he seemed to know 'em all:

This one had a lot of nice details, including the hot water handle on the radiator cap.

Apparently, this fella knows about as much about this car as we do. If anybody has a clue, I got his phone number.

I liked that this was all-restored on first appearance, but then he lifted the hood to show a banger block with an OHV conversion.

Need more Dan, even though I was there too. Great shot under the hood of Russ's car. I love that thing. So many great details. It's a great testament to what you can do with a car when you own it for about 35 years...

Great shots, wish I'd checked the dates, I was 30 minutes away picking up a '32 B engine to go with a Winfield head I bought last week. Got the hear all about the meet from a friend that had "The Old Gray Mare" there. The Pop Dryer speedster is Dryer powered not OFFY. Pop built a lot of bodies for INDY cars in the 1930's, sprints and midgets too. The side by side shot of the two '34 pickups is a nice one, so is the under hood shot with the Ford powered Amilcar in the background. GOT to make this meet next year!

Nice pictures Dan. Even though you "forgot" my car,( just kidding..plenty of my car in earlier post) I'll help you out identifying some of these cars. I'm sorry I don't know who all of them are, but I do know many of them.

Jack Wegman: grey 30 tudor...jack is also the main reason for this show. It was his baby for the first three years. Then the Early Ford V8 Club of Cape Cod started helping him. Before that it was just him, his wife and daughter.

**** Kiusalas: cut down, channeled home made roadster. Car was built in the late 40's near Springfield Ma. It had been in a barn for 40+ years. **** plans to restore it, but wants to make sure he gets as much info before he starts to tear it apart. He already has a 296 flathead that will replace the chevy. He also has a flathead dragster that he races at Epping NH.

Bob Jepson: '29 roadster with dodge hemi. This car won its cl*** at the Endicot Estate show in 1993 and was a full feature in American Rodder the following winter. The article came with a full three page pull out poster.(this car gave me the inspiration I needed to build a traditional hot rod after I saw it at the show in 1993.)

Buddy George: '34 channeled, sectioned but not chopped full fendered. He drove this to the first NSRA nationals in the early 70's. He races at Epping NH all season. The cars runs in the low 11's.

Paul Aldrich: the restored bannister dragster. Paul has been collecting pieces to restore one of the first, if not the first dragster in New England. He started with part of the original frame. Other parts started to surface and he has duplicated others after studying old pictures of the car. He plans to run it a NE strips in exibition one day. The tow car for this dragster is a six carbed nailhead 40 Ford tudor. How's that for nostalgia?

Roy (Roy's Louvers..see ads in Magneto) black '32 roadster high-boy with chevy eng. Roy does all the louvers on the cool hot rods in NE. ( he called me last night to let me know that my Model A hood is ready for pick up.)

Russ Daly: 29 roadster with orange rails. Russ has owned this car since 1964. It is in a constant state of change. A great study of detail. You can read about russ and his shop in the latest issue of Magneto. A tour of his shop has been permanatly etched in my brain. All I can say is WOW.

I think that's all I can remember about the cars. I'll try to do better next year. Ha Ha

After posting the descriptions, I noticed that I missed some background detail. In the background in one photo is MODEL 40's light blue '54 tudor. Also forgot to mention LeadSledMerc's super low '33 pickup. Sorry guys.

Thanks for the comments guys. I have more photos at home that I'll put up tonight - including a few of yours, Paul. [IMG]

also, thanks for the info about the cars and the drivers. I wasn't really taking notes, so it's good to know who owns what.

Thanks for putting up the pictures. I'm origionally from the Pa./NY area and enjoy seeing east coast style cars. There is a rich history of hot rodding from that area and a lot of people don't realize it thinking the west coast has a monopoly on "automotive cool".
