I forgot to post these earlier in the week. I walked around all freakin' day Saturday, wearing my HAMB shirt, but nobody noticed. Oh, well, sorry I didn't get to meet any of you HAMBers that were there. Anyways, here's the pics..............
Thanks for sharing the pics, I was wondering if the weather was better this year than last years swamp. According to the pictures it was aperfect day. One of these years I need to cruise the Merc up in that direction. Thanks again, Happy Trails, Mick
Mick, It rained most of the way down to Gettysburg and rained until near midnight Friday night. We woke up Saturday morning and the Sun was shining, not a cloud in the sky. We figured it'd be mud city at the park, but it wasn't too bad at all - a little soft in places, but not bad. They had a early R&R revue that night with the "Hub Cats" playing and it was pretty good. Unfortunately, with the price of gas and the ****py weather forecast, there were only around 500 cars, not the usual 800 or so. We drove about 750 miles round trip in my buddy's '59 Ranchero, but it was worth the time & cost. Next year my Buick's going, one way or another !! Real friendly crowd with a lot of different cars. C'mon up next year for it - it's a good show. -Bob
