The Los G***ers are busy making more messes at Casa de Rad****......Thought I'd post a few pics.......

Variety is the key to cure boredom.......at least for those of us who have ADD.... that's what I tell everybody, anyway.....

Waiting to weld on the hairpin brackets on the Plymouth double drop tube axle, and narrow a Ford nine inch rear, for the T-bucket....

The 29 Model A coupe has the frame Z'd and kicked in the rear but needs to be lengthened 5 1/2 inches for the right wheelbase....this car has an early 331 Hemi that I picked up from Jay and a dropped front spring from Bobbleed. It has a 57 Chevy P-case rear with a 40 Ford rear spring out back. I have a cool 4 bbl manifold from Andy ready to bolt on.....

The 27 T-roadster is for a customer, installing a 351 Windsor and FMX ****** it was an old rod from the day....we're updating it with new suspension pieces and a much better stance.....

The Coupe.....the body is really not bad, save for the roof that needs some metal work....but not too bad.....split bones front and rear......that rear bones bolt right up to the Chevy axle ....I'm sure somebody already knew that....

Neal, looks like you've got your hands full out there. I got the prints back from the lab and will send you one next week. Keep an eye out for a sneak peek during the Friday Art Show...

Here is my friend Ken's 27 T-bucket on the frame jig.....it has the 331 Caddy motor and Hydra-matic installed ...we're remounting the spring perches and body for a much lower ride height......This frame jig really is quite handy...it allows for movement on the X , Y and Z axis......I can jig upo a frame and cut it in the middle and lenghten it without worry of lateral movement.....really nice...

Cool stuff, glad the spring is working out....

The rear bones bolt to the Chevy axle? Huh?
They just bolt on, you didn't have to make mounts?

Well Bob...they weren't exactly that easy, but they did have almost an identical bolt hole center, and I had to space them away from the backing plate some..........But I made them work none the less.....I can post some more detailed pics soon....

What are the dates and where? I'll plan to get the weekend off if i have to work it. I'll get you a measurment of the rearend width i need as soon as i get my southern New Mexico lowering system out of the trunk(about 500lbs of cement). I dont have anything to sell at the moment but i'll hang out at your guys spot. Maybe if the Dodge wants to go that far i'll see what kinda trade offers i get up there. Since i put the wide whites on it and painted the rims red I have a daily thing of people wanting to buy the chevy. [IMG] Just none of them have stepped up to the plate.

  22. Neal,My first thoughts are WOW look at the great weather!!! Today is one of the first days out of the house without a jacket,it actually hit 70*F today. But still like 35 at night.Next thing is COOL place...need any help? I'm still hoping for a run at the drags, truck or whatever.I thought about bringing down a customers car I just did,but it's not traditional (77 camaro) I had to put on a tunnel ram and dual quads, cut hole through hood etc.Turned out pretty nice.

    Take Care,
    DAN

Roothawg....I hauled 1500 pounds of s**** metal to the crusher...that was just s****...the engines are saved at Ken's garage and the rest of the heaps are down at the storage yard where we took you to see the dragster......It's nice to have working space again.....now the kids want me to put up a basketbal hoop...I guess I can give in a little [IMG]

Scallop53...I'll have sumthin at the HAMB drags...most likely the HAG ( 35 Plymouth Coupe ) but I might have a beater too.......we'll race again soon...can't wait...
