these are the only pics I have on my hard drive of some striping I did about four or five years ago . A few good cars a few not so good cars but all the money made was blown on either my chopped Merc or other forms of low living if you know what I mean [IMG] Thanks to every one who gave me a warm welcome after my intro earlier today on the H.A.M.B.

    I havn't been there yet.
We were gonna go this year, but that didn't work out.
    Next year for sure.

  16. 00 Mack, I'm into customs, too. Ya never know, the Vic I wrote about may have been inspired by that Jersey Vic convert. New Jersey is a interesting place.

Yeah the pics are of my 53 i'm building..

I know exactly the body style your talking about. I have a friend that has one, and he just whacked the lid on it this week.
He's a hell of a body man, so he's helping me do the 'finish' body work on my 53, and in return i'm supposed to help him chop it....

I like the look of the coupes..they are somewhat rare...

Have you gone to the GoodGuy's Rhinebeck show at all?

Actually I like the coupes too but there was also a two door sedan that used the same back windows as the coupes but if you chop a coupe ya gotta bring the roof down straight at the b-pillars to keep the 1/4 windows nice and long

    Hahaha.
We were just talking about that last night!!
He was mentioning about the size of the quarter windows in comparison to mine (mine was a bel-air sedan)..
I'm not all that crazy about em when the quarter windows look too small. I think it throws off the proportions of the car..
Then again, thats only my opp.

Alot of guys prefer 2 door sedan bodies to chop over coupes because its basically a 1 peice drop and then you have to lay down the back window but with a coupe you have to split em to get em to look right

I started going a few years ago. I like that show..actually, we met up with some really cool people, so we go basically to hang with them..

We'll be there this year, is this the 'on' or 'off' year for you?

On mine, i slid the roof forward, angled the 'B's etc..
    I cut it 5".

Sorry for highjacking your post man, here i am bs'ing when this post was for your striping..
    Your work deserves the attention..
