heres some more pics. I've put about 1500 miles on her since the paint. The headliner came in the other day but i'm waiting to wet sand and paint the dash again...
I can't get over how good those Cragars and white walls look. I never would have guessed. Looks like a nice paint job too. Shine those bumpers up with some buffing compound and cruise!
No, that's not my old poncho. I sold my rights to her past in an out of state parking lot some time ago. That's YOUR poncho, Kevin. I couldn't be more proud or more amazed at the progress you guys have made. The paint looks awesome! Some of those Cragars were purchased in 1988. All the polishing in the world will not make them look much better... I tried, and then bought new ones. The tires were only 2 or 3 years old when you got them and should still have a lot of life left to them. Maybe paint the spokes red oxide, leave the rim chrome and get w/whites when the time comes. You're doing a great job! Bil
WOW! I'm impressed. Now, I can see it with chrome reverse wheels and a huge slam job.... Very nice paint and bodywork on a rusty, ol' bent up Poncho. That driver's 1/4 panel was tortured. I assume you replaced the entire 1/4 panel and tailight area?
