Ok let's discuss:D ...in my "view", Steve is a NEWB here in terms of time & post count on the HAMB, six months and 66 posts BUT NOT a newbie when it comes to building quality stuff as his photos have shown us. Most of us on here CAN tell the difference between a POS thrown together "rat rod" and a quality built "shock-rod" (for lack of a better term). Give "us" a little credit for being able to tell the difference.;)

Steve's posts, this one and ones in the past also go to prove that one doesn't have to have thousands of posts to be well respected here on the HAMB and vise versa.

With your talent and vision, your going to end up just like Jesse James. Posting only when you have something to brag about and never here to actually advise anyone on anything.
Just teasing...
You have the right at***ude. You guys keep doing what you do and enjoy the hell out of it. PJ

There's something I noticed around here that happens alot. People will ask to see what another HAMBer is up to or what's going on in his/her garage. Then they post to satisfy people's curiosity or just to provide some form of visual entertainment at least, or maybe they're just damn proud of the work they produced and thought someone else would like it, appreciate and just maybe it would even spark new ideas or help someone with a problem they're having with their own build. The drama gets rediculous around here sometimes. Maybe the "honest opinion" should be kept inside sometimes.

... I don't get the drama. IT'S JUST THE INTERNET!!!! Get back to thinking about your builds!

EDIT:
Just want to add... That thread rocked! So much good info and I frequent your myspace page a lot to see what's going on. I learned a lot from that thread, despite whatever sh!t talk surrounded it. Thank you!

..........wow all I can say is you love what you do and it shows!!

BTW (If you haven't been to his my space check it out: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=139415657 I'm only 3/4 of the way through it and I needed to take a break and let it all sink in.)

Dude, you have an attention to detail and craftsmanship in all your work like I see maybe once in every 100 or so builds. Starpower? man if you're famous it's only because you're awesome at what you do. I see you can build bad *** traditional looking rods and run to the other side and build over the top extreme creations, all done with the same attention to detail. Man I'm jealous, I go to a job I hate every day and have been trying to get my rod together for a year. When I'm done the build won't even come close to your rides in fab skills.....Even the worst day at your job must be better then any day working for the man.

Keep it up, F**K the haters

I think some folks lack the maturity too simply state an opinion without bashing other's opinion at the same time. That's an annoying side effect of an open forum...

The important thing to do here is to look past it and ignore it.

The car. Looks to have incredible workmanship... I really like the textures and the motor. The latest channeled truck craze really isn't my thing, but I would most certainly stop to check this truck out if I saw it sittin some where...

Sorry if you took my tease wrongly.
Actually it was more of a jab for JJ since we never see him here only when he has some bragging to do.
Your work floors me. And like my original post said.
You have the right at***ude and my respect. Already you have Hambers here who will stand by you. When thats the case. I too will do the same. PJ

Your stuff rocks.....so don't let the whiners get to ya....they don't even have cars. Maybe you could post something helpful to them, like, how to use a plasma cutter on moms apron strings. Please keep posting your stuff...any or all, it's VERY inspiring to an old fart like me.

I don't like the truck. Too far for me. BUT.... the work there and moreover the work I saw on your Myspace page is beautiful. I don't need to like the look to appreciate the car. As far as your work.... I'll say only this; My highest compliment is that what I see you producing makes me wanna go out to my own shop and do a better job at the stuff I'm building now. You got a bright future with cars if you keep on this path buddy.
