So these past few weekends have been good. Got the old suspension out, got the "new" rear axle narrowed, and tonight a buddy and me got the "new" 4 link all tacked in and rolled the car into the night air for the first time in over a year. Here are a few pictures of the parts and labor that went into making the 4 link system work. I added 3.5" to the lower link arms (which came out of a 92 Lincoln LSC). Here are the new axle tabs I had cut out at a local shop by my house. And after staring at the car with it's new stance for an hour, it was time to tuck her back in until I can get some time to finish weld all the rear suspension stuff.
In the process of opening my own shop so I haven't had any time recently to do any work or post pictures. I hope to be making more progress in April though. When I do I'll post more pictures! Thanks for the post I remember my first build. 1964 Rambler American
Liking the look of this. My car is almost that low in the rear... thanks to completely sagged out leaf springs.
Sweet ma, i've been running my 65 for five years or so and time to dig in again...thanks for the inspiration
