more progress on the 27

Gday Guys
Put the steering box in today
Datsun (Nissan) 120Y Nice and small enough to clear the $#@*
oil filter unlike the HQ Holden one I bought and spent an hour pulling out of a wreck (I think theyre like a Vega box)
I got a blacksmith with a FB press to flatten the pitman arm for me.





Next on the list is to get the ladder bars TIGed up and the coilovers located.

Anyway thanks again to evryone on the HAMB for the help and advice and have a ball tearing 2005

What kind off sterring box is that. A datsun/ Nissan What year?

 

The 120Y is mid to late 70's - old enough to be considered traditional

I was going to go that route...then changed my mind to side steer and used a vw bus box. still got the 180b box if anyone needs it, its really tight and came outta a low mile wreck. aussie guys only...shipping to u.s. would be silly.
