More traditional billet

    Those turned out real nice!...It's a ***** cleaning up after you've used the tablesaw for that. I was tracking little metal bits all over the house for weeks.
    Whatcha gonna make next????

    Thanks Jethro! Actually, I find working aluminum on the tablesaw to be slightly less messy than wood..........that fine sawdust gets everywhere! Personally, I thought the tablesaw method was pretty darn slick when you did it before. Seems like it'd be an awful slow process on the Bridgeport (which was also an option for me). With the saw, cut, turn 90, cut, move the fence 1/8" and repeat....repeatedly.

    I'm going over how to make my gauge panel now. When I saw how the pedals came out, my brain almost immediately pictured the dash treated the same way.
