More Transmission Delimas

Ok I needed a T5 or an early T10 for my Y-Block. A good friend sent me a trans that we thought was a T5. I still dont know if it is. (Im still learning ALOT when it comes to transmissions) I didnt get to see it before he sent everything to me so I couldnt really say no to free parts. Im trying to find out if I can run it on my Y-Block. When it arrived I figured I could run just the tail section on the back of my bellhousing but I could be wrong? If I cant run this then Im seriously ****ed until I find a transmission.

 

no, that's not a T5. hint: it has the bellhousing and case as one piece, the T5 has them separate

 

Thats what I figured. Thanks for a definite answer. Does anyone know if you can run this on a with an adapter plate or something?

It's got the GM 60* bellhousing bolt pattern. Don't know of any way to bolt that up to a Y block.
