well i hadnt worked on it hard lately,so i figured id better get workin on it, considering i have to have it at a indoor car show on the 17!, thankfully it doesnt have to drive, im showing it as an in-progress car, but i think it would be fun if it drives to! so im gonna try to get it drivaable! i worked on taking the floor all day today(sunday), yesterday i worked on the firewall, pulled the engine and finished a bunch of welding on the frame, tomorreow im gona make my hanging peadal ***embly, and finish of the floor pans, heres a couple of pics
Nice work on the floor ***us.....good luck getting her ready for the show ......but be kool if you drove!
dont worry, i know my opening in the firewall is crooked, it is for a 2 reasons, dipstick clearence on the p***enger engine side, and pedal and foot clearence on the driver compartment side.
here a pic of the radiotor i went through hell to get!, i ordered it, they said 2 weeks, waited a month and a half!, got it and it had the wrong outlet!! it was for a sbc, i got a nailhead, lower hose needs to be on the driver side! i got the next one in about 5 days, i was happy then, i will still use them, they do beautiful job and i undersatand **** happens,
its all hand made, with blood and sweat!! and i mean it, i cut the **** out of my hands like usuall!, i used my dads home-made metal break nad home made bead roller, they are older than i am!!! but work awsome
o yeah and my trusty trans tunnel bender (a driveshaft resting on 2 bar stools!!) it worked great though, i used 16 gauge on the flat stuff, and 18 on the tunnel heres an over all side view i like
got more dun tonight(monday), finished off the floors and made some boxing plates for the front, and started makeing a hanging pedal ***embly, also a little advice, if you got your head undernieth your dash in your car, BE CAREFUL when you pull you head out! especially with a fabbed up dash, you never know where you might have sharp edge, i cought my head on my dash and sliced open the back of my head, it ****en bled all over, and it still hurts, o well!
W.O.W. is done so you must be shown' at GSTA..... I may try to make it down there for that. The '32 is lookn' great!
