More wiring ?'s for my 440

You guy's gave me some great info on my ignition system wiring, i am putting a 440 in an rpu, how about the alternator? It's a 3 wire set up, motor manuels are all about the original car in which it was in, not a hot rod, where does the 2 wires go to from the voltage regulator? Any help would be great.

That's for a 'newer' style alternator and voltage regulator.
If you have an old-style (pre70), you'll need this diagram:

 

I would run the later model dual field alternator with the electronic voltage regulator
