@M. Morton , is there any way to get a copy of your March 2001 HOP UP magazine editorial? Yeah, that's 25 years ago. My hard copy is worn out. It starts with: "We been pretty lucky, as some of you know...." and ends with: "... But you probably just don't give a s**t, now do you? It's about the iron." Thanks!
Morty; Sounds like you doing well and still living the dream. Sure glad I bought several issues of your last Hop Up featuring my Nebraska built deuce roadster shot by Damon Lee. Lot's of deuce hot rods built and gone since then. Yellow roadster is the latest. Always remember you and your wife's gracious hospitality inviting my friend Jim Rench and I along with other rodder's to your home on the hill during our visit to the LARS show. Thanks for helping to promote Cronhusker R&C and your friendship. Gary at Cornhusker
Man, what a great car... by the way, we had a mutual friend in Steve Hendrickson from Wayzata Mn. He talked very highly of you....
Thanks for the post! Still love to go back and read your old HopUp articles. Still proudly wear the T shirt. You’ve had some great cars (Jive Five!) and this one is right up there. “En HopUp Veritas”
Mark: Yep. Steve took me to meet you during one my fairly regular visits and I was duly impressed! I miss my Buddy and can return his compliments x 2!
