Stock wheel base,dose look good to many,but fact is that short wheel base mixed with big HP= really bad control under max power/driver can't drive straight....... Longer WB fixs the control thing,but to some that have not raced much at all,it may look bad to them. Too those that have drag raced more then just playing around,long WB looks way cool an fast ! Back in 1964 our club built English Ford 105E powered by sbc,made it to the drags first time with stock WB. After 3 club members gave it a go,all 3 nearly crashed an could not do a full run. Yes they were good drivers and one was our FED driver. We took it back to club garage an added 4feet to WB out front. Made good full runs after that.

It is a radiator out of a late 80's Honda Civic. I will measure it this afternoon when I get home from work. It was an ebay special radiator and fan combo for less than a hundred bucks . Seems to work .

You could ,but you would be comparing apples to oranges. There is a Morris Minor now that is running in A/Gas in the Southeast Gassers. You may want to contact Earl McLamore his car is as fast as any of the A/Gas cars ,he just hasn't figured out which direction it is going fast in. You can stick a transverse leaf spring or coil over axle out close to the front and gain some wheelbase. Anglia's are around 92 inches after they are set up. The Morris is 87inches , so if you push the rear back a couple and the front forward a couple you have an Anglia. short wheelbase cars are all about trying to control the violence in the first 60 feet. Then say a quick prayer and hang on.

Never drag raced a Morris Minor.......heck fire I never even drove one but can imagine the first 60 feet COULD be a hand full! Couldn't you sorta "walk into it" instead of ....'side-step-it-at-7 grand?! Of course its going to rear up like a spurred buck'in horse when you stomp-it. Adjustment-adjustment-adjustment on the suspension and wheelie bars. If those mega-thousands of HP funny cars can get a straight(pretty straight) run I bet you can too! 6sally6
