Good morning HAMBsters. Time to****ilate your brain cells, so, let's jump in shall we?

    1. What legendary piece of hot rodding hardware was develeloped by chassis builder and jet car pioneer Romeo Palamides in 1954 with the help of machine shop owner J.O. Ellison and what company did it spawn which is still a leader in the industry today.

    2. Strange as it may seem, what is probably the ultimate "patina" car is made of fiberglass. It was purchased new by a legendary rocker and never washed. Who is the owner and what car is it. Extra credit if you know where the car is now.

    3. What musical legend was also a race car driver who named his early dirt track modified after one of his biggest hits.
Name the artist and the name of the car. Hint: Car was #777

Have fun. Winner gets a little token from yours truly.

Ok we seem to have stalled out. Mutt was right on Mag wheels (Tourque Thrusts to be exact) and American Racing.
    Hints:
    2. All you "deadheads" should know this one.
    3. The #777 is just one up from 666. This should help with the name of the hit single and the car. Which should give you the name of the artist.

No.2 must be Jerry Garcia and if he bought it new, and it was glass, it must be a Corvette?

    No clue on No. 3

All I can think of for number 3 is Marty Robbins. Devil Woman. He ran dirt track and stock cars. Was number 2 the vette that was walled into the room for years? They had to remove a wall to get it out. Parked there new and never driven.

We have the answer to #3. Someone needs to get all of #2 and put them together to win.

    Kritz,
The devil reference was for Devil Woman on #3. See Smokin Joes post. Still need the Vette's owner.

2 is probably Mickey Hart. He was part owner of an Austin Gasser too.

Hot Rod Josh is the winner. I will get your goodies in the mail today. Great participation today. If you like it I'll do it for a while longer.
Mutt sent me a PM saying that the original wheel built by what eventually became American were not five spoke TQ's and he may be right, I got the info from Americans web site.
