Hey guy's I need your help. I just ordered a bead roller to help out with my Model A project. I was torn between the Baleigh manual unit and the Mittler Brothers unit, but in the end the Mittler Brothers piece won out. Only for the fact that that the MB offers a packeage to upgrade later to a power drive unit, which is after all is the most desirable but not feasible at this time . With that being said dies are expensive and dont want to buy dies I won't use. What dies do you use most on your builds? More specifically Model A builds? I hope to be able to make my own lower patch panels and floor pans. Thanks for your input.

The two main dies you need are a 1/4" bead roll die, and a 3/16 step roll die. By getting the deeper step die you will have more options on depth. You can run a 1/16 step with it, or anywhere in between. If you want beads that are bigger, you have options there also. Have fun!
