  10. latest pics. today I started on the back seat. Andy stripped the old covering, then cleaned and painted the frames.
    I hog ringed a layer of burlap to the outer edge of the seat frame. I then covered the burlap with three layers of polyester batting. I cut the first layer slightly over sized and hog ringed it to the outer edge of the frame. the next two layers wrapped the edge and were hog ringed to the springs.
    I didnt get a pic but I then covered it with muslin. This allows the seat cover to slide easily on the frame.
    Now its ready for the seat cover.

  13. I plan on trying to get up with motoandy later today hope he has the seat in. Jim the seat looks killer.
     
  14. the seat is still in my garage. having trouble with the motor on the sewing machine. New one ordered should be here Mon or Tue.

    Car just got painted so not ready just yet. Have to install glass first, and seat out will be easier to climb in and out. Baby Steps

  24. Todays update. The new Sew Quiet SQ5000 servo motor is the ticket. Dont know how I ever sewed without it.
