I'm replacing my 235 inline 6 in my 56 chevy w/a 292 what brackets did you use for side mounts for the 292. Thanks JT

The 250 will kind of bolt in, with aftermarket V8 side mount brackets, and the 1960s truck block-to-mount brackets. But one of the mounts on a 292 is offset forward a couple inches, making it difficult....

I bought a set up from Langdons. I am not sure it is still available but it had the brackets to weld or drill and bolt onto the frame. I haven't used it yet but it would be a pretty nice set up for most frames. The only reason it hasn't been used is I am still looking for a timing gear cover to continue with the assembly on my 292.

Not a 56 but a 292 in a 37 Chevy. These are not finished but you get the idea,
