I have a 327 2barrel motor out of a 64 car that I want to build for a 4x2 Offy and roch 2g's. What should I do for the motor that would compliment this combination to its full capacity? It needs boring probably .030 with a couple sleeves because of rust damage in the cylinders. I have a set of single diamond power pack heads and the heads that came off the motor. I may buy a set of good iron heads or maybe even some aluminum ones- (but that wont really go with the vintage deal). I'm not real up on the runner volume or flow stats so I am at the mercy of some of you guys info. I know there are some diehard chevy small block guys on here so if you could lend me a hand I would appreciate it. Thanks, Rich

    BTW, I'll be pulling on a 4-speed saginaw to some radir 8.20's and a 3.25 geared 9"

Along with better breathing heads...get a good lump stick to go along with that. nice set of headers and you will have a good running motor.
