2.0 L Ford Duratec, 2.3 intake, OBX headers, M5 trans from a Ranger pickup.

 

Now this is coming from a Yank,,, but I did spend a little time in your neck of the woods. As mentioned a Holden 6,, you have a ton of em and they are smaller the than a US six and if I remember right you have speed parts for them, Next the hemi head 250 Ford 6, the slant 6 MoPar,,you guys had tri power for them right? Tons of Y-Blocks but not really a speedster motor. And finally the Simca Vidette (sp?) with the almost V8-60.

Hi ... If you want a good looking twin cam that will dress up like a look alike Offy... find a Toyota 4 AGE twin cam....if I was ever going to build another track T..thats what I'll be useing...........

 

Someone already suggested the Quad Four Olds motor but that was my thought when I first started reading the thread, since you have a four banger and tranny (and being frugal myself) I suggest using it, using a six cylinder just doesn't seem right.
