Indians blow up my skirt, but I couldn't afford a new one....or an old one for that matter.....so I doctored up a Heritage. Sold about a year ago. Replaced with a soul-less 100th Anniv. Road King(sold after 15 miles of riding) Now I got a Road Glide(doubt y'all wanna see IT)

Had lots of putts as I've been puttin' since '62, but I designed Nightwind in '58 at the age of twelve and finally built'er in '81 while my first marriage imploded. Do my own work of course, except the seat. Stitched that up in Pasadena at the best shop around (long gone now). She's seen most of the coast, most of the Sierra Nevada (we like the hills and canyons) and a couple of Leno's "runs" (we usually take off from there and spend the rest of the day in the hills). Last putt I've built, still have'er and still putt'er. Second marriage holding up as well as she is, we rolled the coast road in a two day long peasouper up to Frisco on'er for our honeymoon in '85. Surrealistic ride. Think I'll keep both of'em, they seem to be holding up well.

  11. Here's a pretty scratchy old pic of my pan on my way to the Blood Run in San Jose circa 1980 I think. Not nearly as cool as everyone elses scooters but it is what it is.

I can play this game. I hesitated at first, but when i saw other non-HD stuff, I couldn't resist.
As soon as I can get a free engine, trans and frame I'll build a HD.
**Hint, hint** (panhead only please. Maybe a shovel)

Anyway, everything done to this, I did.l The paint, the hardtail section, the fender, the seat, i put on the sporty tank. I built the engine with a Wiseco big bore kit. I did everything. Well, Flanders did the bars. It's a '82 Suzuki GS750 and i got it from an ex's barn. I have about than $2k in it. You can't get a new bike for that and this is all new. I ride the shit out of it.[IMG]

Mostly stock with S&S heads. Robert Pradtke did the flying tiger paint for me.
Cars are cool, but this is my favorite thing of all.

Here's the Triumph I bought from Hatch. I had never even sat on a bike until I went over to his house and fell in love with this one. I bought it and I take my safety class in the spring. I have practiced on it a little bit though. Perfect bike to learn on I think:D

    Current view into my garage:

    (L to R)
'61 Vespa Allstate (currently recieving an engine rebuild)
    '61 Ford Falcon Futura
'69 Honda chopper, via Kutty Noteboom
'79 Vespa P200, 4-time "rat bike" award winner, and daily rider
I built it from 4 parts bikes.

    Reverse view:

In the forground sits a '36 wheel cover. To the left is a nice '72 Honda CL-350. That spot of yellow is '63 Vespa GL-150. The black bike is a '53 Russian Ural M-72 (the sidecar is current off and sitting in another corner of the garage for repair). Behind that is a friend's smallfame Vespa. And then you get the reverse views of the P200 and Honda from the first photo.

    Not shown (elsewhere):
    - (2) '53 Vespa 150s (widebody handlebar bikes)
    - '59 Lambretta Series 1 Li150
    - parts to build a '32 Ford pickemup

I'm on Jockey Journal under the same user name.
