Cal Custom small block Ford valve cover. Cut it in half and welded it together. It is my oil tank. I'll post more pics of it when I have time.

The one pictured is a 69. I know too new for the HAMB but I figured they all looked similar

 

On the back of a business card I found in a cabinet I got at a estate sale

 

ah i realise there are differences but the bones of it is the same

 

what was the front drum brake like in mine the rear drum was useless(cable operated )

 

had 1 of these as well bsa super rocket ,alloy head,single carb.a bone shaker

Harley Club Bandung 1981 visiting Pangandaran

 

That was my Bike when l was working in Bandung lndonesia from 1980 until 1982.

 

I wanted to make a picture of the 1 cylinder Harley Davidson,but l hade no chance!

 

At the office from the Harley Davidson club in Bandung.The smiling man in the center was the chef mechanic,a very nice person but sadly l forgot his name.Have a close look to the bike on the left side.

after 45 years without a Panhead l had the feeling that is the last chance to buy again a Panhead (Back to the roots)
I bought one,and made some small modifications.
That was the result after the first ride.Less then 1000 Meters.

I had no chance
Someone was entering the main road without to see me!

I HAD A LOT OF LUCK AND IN THREE MONTH EVERYTHING WILL BE GOOD!

Sheet metal can be fixed , it could be way worse . Left hand turns are the worst . Just had a person look me in the face and pull right out in front of me turning left . It’s like they are totally blind .

 

OUCH ! bet that hurt.wishing you a speedy 100% recovery.looks like the springers took the brunt of it.hope they can be straightened out too.best wishes from IRELAND.

Yes, 61 A10 Super Rocket, 32mm Mikuni TM flatside carb, 2001 Honda CBR 600 front fork ***embly, 66 Lightning small tank, electronic ignition replaces the stock magneto, 12 volt electrics...

 

looks very nice .what mirrors have you on it?.any close up photo of one .im about to start working on fitting mirrors to my 38 truck.need something i can see out of.esp on the p***enger side when driving lhd truck over here.its a nightmare changing lane on 2 or 3 lane stretches of road
