Hello, So Cal is/was full of those free spirit custom motorcycle builders and riders. This Harley Panhead was well done and showcased the top builders and individual styles so prevalent from the 60s to the current times. A well done custom motorcycle frame filled to the smooth specs and raked to give the “out there” style with long forks of any style or custom makes. From the tubing steel forks to the solid core metal rods, the steering was altered, but yet ridable. Jnaki The one thing was contrast. A custom paint color versus the mostly chrome motor accessories and for the pure show bikes, a fully chromed motor. Most stayed with add on chrome to give a highlight to top off their custom build. The “z” bars started in the 60s and for some, was the only way to go on a custom build. As others looked at these creations, it was a plus or minus on the tall seatback as far as smooth lines and styling. Eventually, even those came off in the name of hot rod custom motorcycles. YRMV
