Looking at old Husky pictures I keep seeing versions of that little piece on the side of the fuel tank. Is that just a little shield to keep your pant legs off the float bowl/carburetor?
Some sort of shield for the intake stack, so it wont **** in the pants?? Looks like its have twin bowls to prevent methanol starvation in fast corners These bikes are bad***, imagine goin down a gravelroad in 110mph in the 1930s
Heres some more ol huskys Or actually, these are all replicas, all original vtwin TT racers were either crashed or destroyed in an fire And because of all the driver casualties and bad luck they decided to stop the racing division, a sad decision for sure. All the TT vtwin racers nowadays are casted and made after old blueprints, and its amazing they keep racing them, instead of let them dust up on some ol museum, at museum you wont hear the exhaust music.

Thanks! I was in Oakland in the 60s and crossed paths with Barger and the Boys often. Once I was afraid I was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and driving what I am sure was the only hot rodded red '40 Chevy pickup in Oakland. I knew I couldn't hide for long. It all worked out.
It's not the beer that's the problem so much as the flares. Been caught a couple of times in the deep, dark past coming to a stop and trying to put a foot down and the jeans leg gets hung up on something. It's an embarr***ing look......
