Event Coverage Moultrie, Georgia

We went down to the swap meet/cars for sale event yesterday. A beautiful day, loads of parts and cars. Prices seemed fair. I only took a few pics.

 

Note: I only took a pic of that hemi because of the vented valve cover, there were lots of good parts too.

 

I’ll go out on a limb and say that Hemi is stuck

 

How much for that '57 Ford Wagon? Love it! Unwritten rule #1 when taking images of "For Sale" cars, always take picture of sign.

 

Looks like $22,500 when I zoomed in.

 

Always a good time. Went one year looking for a hood for a Fairlane, drove a Vette home.

 

Cool. Love that model 40!

As for the hemi being stuck, I'd guess it was, but then they tied a rope to it and drug it out of the dirt!

 

Been there once a few years ago. Long way for me but my daughter was living in the area then. Great Swap meet .Was doing a 51 coupe then and found lots of goodies. Lots of walking.Would love to go again for sure.Thanks for posting.

 

How does Moultrie compare to Pate in size? How about as a comparison of the "flea market" vs "car parts" swap meet factor? I've been to Pate 4 or 5 times but each year it seems more and more spaces are occupied by people who aren't selling anything but just buying/occupying a spot so they can park in the swap meet itself. That makes for a lot of extra walking without anything to see (or buy).
