mounting brackets

    does anybody have any pictures of what the motor mount mounting brackets of 46 chevy look like :confused:

    If you are talking front motor mounts........there are no "brackets".......there is a metal plate behind the timing cover with a flange on the bottom to which the motor mount "biscuits" bolt on. The bottom of the mount sits on the front crossmember and a bolt goes up through the crossmember and threads into the bottom of the mount.

    There may be some brackets at the bellhousing area, but I think they are part of the mounts.........it's been awhile and I can't recall that part exactly.
