im going to be putting a power brake booster into my 50 chevy i know it goes on the driver side but how high or low does it have to be, any advise or pics would be greatly appreciated
SO HERE IS WHAT I HAVE.... DO I JUST ESTIMATE WHERE I WANT MY PEDAL AND DRILL THE HOLE THROUGH THE FIREWALL AND IS THIS HOW IT CONNECTS
whenever i'm up against a project i have never done before , i look around and see how others have done it...both good and bad....to gets some ideas. these guys offer a bolt on firewall MC and pedal for `49-54 chevies .i'm sure Rod & custom did and article a while back on installing one and if i recall correctly used some existing bolts......i'm not saying to buy their kit , but study what they do , get some ideas and make use of their design http://www.waltonfabrication.com/dh/1001.htm
As Midwest Rodder said get the brackets in and hang the pedal first. That will determine where the master and booster go. Doesn't matter how high or low just so there's room
