ok i know ive seen alot of posts by this, what i need to know is what is correct king pin angle, from looking at a side view, i heard it was 7 degrees? is that right? not sure, is any angle needed? ive heard that the car tends to wander if king pins are set at 90 degree, anyone know?
It's called "caster".The kingpins lean back at the top.And 7 degrees will put you in the right neighbourhood.
7deg in relationship to the ground, not the frame. If the frame has a rake you must subtract it. I have a $10 magnetic angle finder gage I used for all kinds of stuff; set the engine angle, pinion, caster, check camber etc.. TZ
