    +5 on this. Only thing I've ever found that works. Plus, it keeps the cars dust, rust, and corrosion free.

    several bundles of dried lavender work well. mice don't like it. keeps the musty smell out also.

    I stumbled on the 5 gallon bucket by mistake. I had a bucket with the lid upside down on the top and maybe a cup full of anti-freeze in the bottom of the bucket. When they stepped on the edge of the lid it tipped and dropped them in. I never looked in the bucket over the winter and had a dozen of the varmits in there. Since then I have heard of using a bucket with a wire across the top and a bean can lid wired in the center with peanut ****er on the lid. When they get to the lid it spins around and drops them in the bucket. It is used in hunting camps around here. I found half my front seat from my 57 wagon above the headliner in the spring. Nasty.
    I set multipule traps because they aways bring thier buddies.

    I have my 49 Chevy out back in a "Cover It" type of garage till I can get started on it and I just made one of these. Checked it the following morning and found a mouse in there deader than a freakin door nail. This thing works good.
