moving bumpers closer?

    Anybody have any tech on moving bumpers closer to the body? I'd like to eliminate the rear gravel pan and get the bumper closer the same with the front also. Do you need to shorten them any when you do this? TIA, later plmczy

    Moving the bumper in is usually as easy as re-drilling and relocating the mounting points inward. Most likely, you'll find that if you move the bumper closer in to the body that it will appear to stick out on the sides of the quarters too much. It depends on the model year of the car, but I'd suspect for aestetic purposes that you may want to section your bumper to get the tight fit (I****ume) you're looking for. Hope this helps.
