    Getting closer. Waiting on eng. did get master cyl brakes lines in front of done. Also the rear shackles. Old ones were home made. Got correct ones. Had to cut the bolts at least one. They installed backwards by spare tire well. IMG_0053.jpeg IMG_0051.jpeg IMG_0052.jpeg

    The rear differential I had to remove again. Side bearing races come in two diff sizes, machinist said had small and should have been the larger ,was previously rebuilt we thought. All they did was new ring and pinion. Old bearings new races. Left side has extra strap with it for IMG_0046.jpeg IMG_0045.jpeg IMG_1590.jpeg

    This car has been fighting me from day one. Alit of stuff was don’t 1/2 ass. Going to be 283 bored 30 over Power pack pac heads, 302 Chevy intake with 600 eddy. Not sure on exhaust yet Flame thrower distributor and coil

    My own '57 project was a lesson in double-check everything, because the last guy is always a hack. Always. Found so much stuff wrong that would never be obvious.

    Looks like you're making good progress though, and that car is at least a clean starting point. It'll be worth it.
