Have the truck and trailer reserved for Friday.

the Olds is blown apart. Waiting for trans to come back and heads from machine shop. Need an intake and carb.

Packing up all week. House is listed. Think the bike is sold. That's how you do it. Oh, the olds is the only ride I'm keeping, so it's got to be ready for the trailer Friday.

    Did I forget anything?

You for real, Ryan? What you do is probably over my head, but I meet a lot of techies through my job.

Yeah, for real... I'm currently looking around and taking offers. I have a pretty good job with a decent company, but I'm getting restless!

Yeah, I could never work for UT... I mean, I am a SOONER homeboy!

Either way, I'm a consultant and strategist - not really a programmer... I like to tell myself that anyway!

I gotta chime in here and say I was in Austin over the weekend and (having never been there before), I really enjoyed it.You guys one nice little town there.......of course 110+ degrees in the summer scares me. Made my pilgrimage to the Continental Club and had a great time. I am definately coming down for the Roundup.

    hey! lucky fucker indeed.

k-nut, should be in town saturday. I say SHOULD. asswipe didn't have my tranny ready today, tomorrow afternoon...

buzz... still lookin' for a house. staying with the little woman in the mean time. mmmmm.., little woman....

flat top. fun is as fun does. i does have fun. sometimes, a little too much. plan on gettin up to one of your events this summer for sure! look out..

JOB? you need a job to live in austin???? SHIT DAMMIT. KNEW I FORGOT SOMETHING.

F.A. snacks. got'em. a whole cooler full of leftover condiments from the fridge. duck sauce, honey barbeque, caeser dressing, you name it! gonna be a good trip.

visor, will be coming back to springpatch off and on. don't know if i'll make the rockaway beach run. 'less i can get some texans to come raid it with me..

i do need a sneaky underhanded lowlife real estate agent in austin. either that or i'm getting my damn broker's liscense and buying my own house. any you guys know an agent that would work for 3%? and i AIN'T kiddin. can be a broker for that price and fuck'em all. i only buy repo's... anybody?

  17. voneyeball

2.4% and you're not paying the broker..., the seller pays the broker! [IMG]

The only time you're going to pay is if you're the one selling the house. [IMG]

So have fun shopping while the rates are low..., and buy before the next election! [IMG]

When the seller is First Preston, you pay the agent. I need an agent that will take 3% AFTER the sale. That way, my 87% of advertised price net to HUD (that's what it takes to "win")bid will be full price of bid, no skim off the top for the agent.

You an agent? talk to me...

  19. Good luck down there Marty. I guess I have a reason to hit Austin now, to make you buy me a beer!

I'd love to live there... I love Austin and I miss Texas. I'm just real picky about where I work and what I do for a living - ya tend to get that way when you are a serious work-a-holic! I've talked to a few companies there and have had an offer or two, but I haven't found that perfect job yet... This week is a huge week for me as far as the career goes and as to whether or not I am going to stay with my current company long-term or not. We shall see...

Von Eyeball - -when are you going to be looking to buy a house? I'm actually going for my agent test with the state in about a week and a half. Let me know. I'm trying to keep as much as possible away from my broker.

that statement, and knowing your ass would fly an OU flag in austin makes me forgive you for considering a move to enemy territory.
