Yeh, it does get a little warm out there, but it is close to Palm Springs if that works for you.
And in the old days if you really wanted to take your life in your owns hands for a bit of extra excitement, you could just take a trip to the next town east and visit Banning.

That has got to be an incentive at those prices.
i am sure there are heaps of other places the same or better.
I only visit kin and I got to say I felt real welcome by the locals and the kind of stuff they wre into so am I, just lucky to meet such nice folks without any BS.

I wish it happened like this more often.
Some places they dont even want to talk to you and spend most of their time complaining to the County about any damn thing you do.

Highlands CA is a good example of that, there you can get a ticket for bring your empty trash can in late.

I lived on the northwest corner of Palm and 8th St's from 77'-79'. I called it Blowmont seems like the wind was always blowing. Last time I went by my old house it was pretty run down. I did a lot of hotroding out of that little one car garage.

Finding a move in condition home for under the $100,000 mark anywhere in So. Cal is tough unless you move to the high desert. Now if you dont mind doing the work your self thats great you can come across a hell of a deal. Me, I have enough projects, dont need to live in one. I was in Banning for new years, friend that lives there tells me that both towns Beamont and Banning have alot of bored cops, other than that they say its layed back and could get boring at times, I guess it just what you make of it.
