It's been awhile since I have added to this thread so here goes got the steering wheel set on the steering shaft. It's from a 49 ford and it fits the spline of the f-1 box.the tail lights and license plate light is mounted ( I know the registration is out of date) tail lights are 52 Buick. I didn't like the way a model A grill shell looked on the car so I put a 32 shell on it so it looks just like everyone else.making the hood fit. headlights mounted pushed it outside for a look more to come

random shot of the motor decided to use a Zips water pump riser on the motor to be able to use a mechanical fan got the grill shell painted and the insert in. list of things that needed to be done before I could drive it this list took forever to complete.trunk repair the finished repair sands painttook it outside for another look today thanks to Bob Bleed and the Cheaters car club ( which I am not a member of) for making it rule

so after looking at a lot of old Hot rod magazines I decided that the 265 manifolds needed to go in order to get an exhaust system on it. Had to hunt a little bit to find one with a generator mounthere we are finishing up the exhaust system. So now the car runs and drives time to work out some of the bugs first off I didn't like the way it rode way too stiff and not a lot of suspension clearance so out comes the rear end to add more springs The spring pack that I had in there had five leaves and I added three more. So that should solve that problem. So now we are going to drive the **** out of it took the car on a 200 mile round trip yesterday down to Milwaukee for Cheaterama with no problems more to come later
