Got the hood blisters attached to the hood and ruff set on the truck FE546962-F935-4099-A652-AD92BE0B09E6.jpeg F26235E7-F6BA-414B-9610-3285545E9AE4.jpeg 7CEA339F-3D43-4A01-9688-05085312283F.jpeg 8374FDDA-8FF4-4FC4-816C-2E0854F309E9.jpeg took some time to paint the insert on the grill today as well. When it first came out of the can I thought it would be to bright but it seemed to tone down a bit when it flashed off 1A6E7806-6E09-434E-A03F-629939DD3725.jpeg

Today was a hot one so we did some easy things. We got some insulation put in the cab 6D1588F4-B057-409C-A28B-4F521DC7D98C.jpeg and we put the dash together and mounted it in the truck hopefully for the final time 8946182E-BBC9-45BA-B1B0-1D2D6E3B93D1.jpeg F6E75E29-94EE-4681-A7EE-2294D7C14A60.jpeg As it sits now with the windshield in it 95E1D1FC-A603-4EF6-9A3D-644404E7AF4E.jpeg

Made a head light bar for the truck. Pictures are a bit out of order. But you should get the gist of it 59153168-7FE6-406D-B02E-852A844D0BDB.jpeg B19FB7A9-66D5-44D6-803E-81A9CC9990EB.jpeg 1F09791E-3CA9-4501-A2C5-A7CF8A8E94F3.jpeg F1475E12-4822-4BA5-831B-C3D02BA0A1FA.jpeg A88B6524-9065-4A4C-8EFB-24E56122B987.jpeg

Moving right along with the lighting part of the project I worked on making the ditch light. Took an old BLC fog lamp and got the bucket of elbow grease out and gave it a good polishing. Then a fog lamp mount was modified to work on the frame 70D1EE10-6943-447F-A2ED-55A9273453C9.jpeg C7626EDE-67EB-4AED-BC8B-6D9A5500BEE5.jpeg BA57C5E5-E29B-4542-B56A-BB537C8B2DFB.jpeg 654FF492-6AEE-456A-A93C-EEDF1E30CFCC.jpeg FE78A3C0-1603-4A3C-AAFF-18DC6A43182E.jpeg 32909B65-9D87-4B58-A7EA-8A6EA2224C42.jpeg A33658DD-3208-422A-B47B-3DD27F247FBD.jpeg

Is that what those lights are called? They don’t really have any markings on them

Many moons ago I bought some stainless steel bends from a vendor at the Jefferson swap meet this was my time to put them to use building an exhaust system and doing some back purged stainless steel welding E3C52035-855F-4D61-A1F8-2C97A241F680.jpeg E6C49CBF-A669-405C-9347-4E4ECC28CCE5.jpeg 1F1CC5BC-B281-445F-8251-85492F76A9DB.jpeg EE9CB073-C31A-4587-B65A-C245D6BBF7B9.jpeg DBBFDD44-BCB1-49CA-B039-0FCB12B1ED1C.jpeg F0F9A847-21C9-476F-8325-2935D9A2059C.jpeg

Got the wheels back from powder coating and got those mounted and put on. Thinking it’s going to need hub caps. I went with 600-16 on the front and 650-16 on the rear 8A11A972-070E-46B5-A8E3-A84EEE3E48AE.jpeg 35FC1BF7-9B5C-4ADE-9AC2-112DE9EFF9BB.jpeg 959055FA-B412-4298-B9B7-F680D0D25D5E.jpeg

Looking good! Caps would set things off very nicely, maybe trim rings if you want to get fancy.

Think you have enough wheel weights there Butch :) If it were mine I would be concerned.

Try turning the tire 180 degrees, if it takes the same weight at that position, I would think the tire is the problem.

Lookin' real nice! Hub caps for sure. I agree it might be a good idea to deflate the tire, mark it and spin it 180 degrees and see where the balancing lands. Maybe I've been lucky, but I've successfully cut way down on wheel weights before by trying the tire on the rim in different positions. If the weights just follow that spot on the tire no matter what position they're in, it could be a tire issue. If they stay on that part of the wheel, it could be a wheel issue. If they move around, usually you can find a sweet spot where they mostly cancel each other out. I've also had where the tire doesn't seat on the bead perfectly square the first time, and breaking the bead and re-inflating sometimes will fix it with way less weights necessary.

Sits real nice though, and I like the tire sizes, same sizes I run on the T.
