    "Ready to Run", it does not need a separate amplifier box.

    ^^^ yes PIC is the first generation MSD ready to run,( Blue module)
    The modern / later two plug wire connector MSD box required ,the modern / later three wire plug is also a ready to run distributor.

    Thanks for the answer. I thought that was what it was, but never saw one, I bought a unfinished Altered project , and it was on it.
    Any idea of when it was made?

    I believe from what I remember seeing 90 ish mid 90s & the blue represented marina, , around same time Accel. Had a Gm HEI module on out side of cap on housing, & I believe conversion kits for other brands from points for small caps .

    There is no points in side the cap correct?
    Its a ready to run electronic ignition,
    Small cap / Compact.
    With module on the outside ,the blue box ,
    No 4 or 5 (80s box up grades for stock ignition) & no ,6.7 box Required but can be used.
