MSRA BTT50's Road construction

Just a "heads up" for you out of town guys/gals. Snelling avenue is all torn up at the University intersection. I would avoid those 2 streets. Snelling is reduced to one lane as it crosses University and University is pretty much closed due to the installation of a light rail line. Drive safe!

With Porky's being gone, I've pretty much lost any need to go to that part of St.Paul anymore. Listen to the warnings though, it's a F#%&ed up mess around there!!!!!

 

ok......so whats the next best way in coming from the south on 35E? I've always come in on snelling, not very familiar with area otherwise.

694 will be closed from 9 Pm Friday night through Saturday and Sunday. Also 35E through White Bear Lake is down to one lane all summer. Just didn't want to see anyone get anymore seat time than necessary. Should be fab, as usual. See ya there.

 

You could try this. (One other thing, I 94 is down a lane from ****** to down town Minneapolis, so 35W route would be slow esp on Friday.) Try 35E to 94 West. Exit on Lexington Parkway northbound. Go 1 plus mile north. Left on Horton for 1/4 mile. Right on Midway parkway. 3/4 of a mile and you'll come out opposite the main gate on Snelling Ave. This is the main entry gate this year for BTT the 50's. Have a safe cruise and GO CYCLONES.

 

Another way is 35E to I94 west to 280 which is just west of the fairgrounds.Go north on 280 and exit on either Como or Larpenter.Both will get you to the fairgrounds.

 

This will give a list of road closures, and possible alternate routes.

 

From the south 35W to Highway 36 east to Snelling . South on Snelling to the fairgrounds and North to 694 to register.
