Cool cars , the last 57 you posted has the right stance . Seeing your vette in the sun , the pin striping while all over is very subtle. Love it !!!
@Moriarity Mark, do you know if this Bel Air was owned by a fella named Bill a few years ago? He used to keep it at Mike Ellis' garage at the Park Place car condos in Minnetrista.
Hey @Moriarity WOW ! That Fury, is an amazing car. As a died in the wool "MOPAR" fan, seeing it reminded me of my first car as a teenager, a 57 Plymouth 4 door Savoy. This isn't it, its a picture from the internet, but its identical to the one I had, same color as well. Thanks for posting and sharing. BTW, that is a great looking drive in as well, a true classic gathering place! Thanks from Dennis.
We are lucky to still have the drive in here. Owned by the same family since 1961. The hot rod thursday gatherings were started by Terry Tower and myself back in the summer of 1982. We were inspired after seeing how cool the George the chili king drive in filled with old cars was at the 82 KKOA leadsled nats in Des Moines that July (82). We just started going to the drive in on thursdays with our old cars, there were about 5 of us in the beginning, slowly more and more showed up and now I bet there are way more than 150 cars there on a nice night....
Great old drive-in, good weather, good car turn-out, looks like a good start for the summer cruise season. I’ve been lusting after those big ‘61-‘64 Fords lately, that ‘64 would do nicely. Thanks for the coverage….
