I am wanting to run Holley 94's on my smallblock chevy. What are the most common 94's? Or should I ask what what be the best model to go with. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,

I would pick the 46-48 carbs or the 49-53 (8BA's). Relatively plentiful thus fairly cheap, easy to rebuild.

8ba's huh. Cool, that's what I will start looking for. Though I have another question. What are the main differences in the other models? Curious?

Some of the internal parts are a little bit different between the pre 49 and post 48 carbs, although they are interchangable. The major difference is the vacuum port in the back of the 8BA carb (used for the distributor). The earlier carbs don't have this. You can plug up the hole using a set screw (it has straight threads)

If I'm getting this right. It does not really matter which carb I use. All will work with a little modification if needed.
