Just thought I'd mention that grown men debating this kind of stuff is the reason I keep renewing my membership here.

Interesting thread for sure. Resurrected from the dead in a matter of speaking.

Speaking of the dead:), Who has the original Munster Koach? The one that was restored several years back was actually the one that Keith Dean built for Barris that had powered by an Olds and had Cragar front Wheels and Centerline 15" 's and was slightly visually different from the original in the windsheild area and gauges.

I remember setting up the Cars and Stars event @ the Petersen back in 2000 and We had to drive it up the circular driveways to get in the building and stage it. Was not even near the same car that I remember growing up watching. Glad that it was completed as to what the original looked like.

Ha, how things have changed in less than five years! There's me talking about VHS tapes (which must have been getting pretty obsolete by then anyway), and nowadays I've got one of them new-fangled DVD player things, and both Munsters series box sets on those little shiny discs. :)

My son asked me once what I play those huge CD's on, and that was 10 years ago.

Thanks for letting me find this thread, the pictures of Lilly at the car lot are priceless!
