Murals and names on cars making a comeback?

I'm going to have this mural painted on my 05 Cad SUV with 36" spinner wheels, except that I'll have the door handles shaved first.

 

Back "in the day", 1958 to be exact, I had a 1951 Pontiac, two tone blue.
I knew when it was my turn to drive when the guys would say, "Lets take the Blue Bitch"
So the car was named.
The logical next step was to paint the name on the side of the car.
Wrong!
Or at least as far as the local police was concerned.
It offended the Chief, so The car became the "Blue Mother Dog"

My mom and aunt graduated from Harlandale and my dad from Sam Houston. Southside represent!I grew up out in the sticks, though (League City,TX to be exact).

When I finish my van, I got two paint schemes planned out 1) a traditional 70's barbarian piece - Im going to have a viking ship pulling into port, with vikings piling off the ship and looting, pillaging, burning, raping, and doing other viking things in the village.

or 2) Im gonna do it 60's style, metalflake, amd have "the date raper" on the sides in mystery machine type script - im gonna have a pill shaped black window near the rear with a martini glass painted right under it.

I gotta finish the Hoop-T and the 50 chevy first though.

 

I was working late building the new bar Sunday night, there's an R&amp;B/Jazz place across the street and this pos Honda Civic pulls up with "DEATHROW" in huge letters covering the backglass. I laughed and laughed and laughed.

 

Truth, you are a man after my own heart. A close third would have to be the Star Wars theme, with Princess Leya chained up to Jabba the Hut on the sides.

 

I'm sure lot's of ya'll have scene 'Kill Bill vol I'.
The 'PussyWagon' is Tarrintino's daily driver. He even brought it to Austin when he did his film fest here

I have a 1:1 life-sized reproduction of myself tatooed on my body. Most people don't even notice.

Pulled up to a red light in my roadster. There were two hot babes in a compact next to me. One said "What is the 'Hot Stuff' for?" I said "Because I'm hot stuff." She sdaid "Ill bet you are." And then the light turned green. I went left. They went straight. Oh what could have been.

Was That (Hot Stuff with the devil) pretty common? I have a old cowl off of a Model A sedan that has the same thing on it.

 

I got beat out of a trophy at a show by a guy with a mural of his 32 vicky on the back of the vicky . Looked like shit but the people liked it. He went to ohio and won a 5 ft trophy too. Its not a bad car but the mural has gotta go and the headlight stands are really wierd too. Was kinda funny on the way home he was on the side of the road broke. I did stop and offer to help and ive shot the shit with him at quite a few shows but I just cant bring myself to tell him the mural is ugly.I actually ofered to help him with a brake problem but he lost my number so he didnt call me. I did get a trophy that day and i really dont go to win but when a fucking van (?thats where murals should stay) wins first place it makes ya wonder...

it means a-v-ain't.the car has v-8 caps on the wheels,v-8 logo on the grille shell,but is powered by a 4-banger....i could've painted a-v-ain't ...but i took a census amongst buddies,and they liked a-v-8'nt.

 

Damn, some people are sooooooooo out there...I think we all should paint pictures on our cars, that way we could change the world.

 

This was painted under the hood on a lowrider at the GNRs in Pomona.

The script reads "This Is How We Do It"

 

this is my car... my mom loves it....well, atleast she did until she figured out what it meant...lol
