I have a 347 stroker in a 1968 mustang it wont stay running. It runs but i got to keep on the gas then in just revs up really high so I shut it off. what do you think I was looking online and it says something about a vacuum leak.

sounds right, vacuum leak causing a lean condition. you can use starting fluid and lightly spray around the carb, base gasket or any other suspect area to find the leak. the engine will rev up when you find it.

I read Ryan's post and saw no mention of cut off year. In fact, read it twice to make sure. Don't get mad and fire bomb me.

    Something I missed?
