I found a 1977 mustang II donor car for my 1950 but I am not sure if the differential is the best choice for this car. I could also use the front end pieces or clip if this is a good idea. Help before I commit to this thing.
If it is an 8" it is good. If it does not have drop out center, pass on it. It is 57", so other 1950 owners can tell you if width is good. V8 models should be trac-lock. This was fuel economy era so probably 3.00:1.
all must 11 that i have seen are 4 lug bolt pattern. rear will look funny and hard to find 15" wheels for . front is fine and you can get 5 lug rotors for it from speedway. you might be able to redrill the rear axle to 5 lug.
