Mustang ii steering rack question??????

1) are there any other makes/models of cars that use the exact same manual steering rack as the 1979 thru 1993 mustang II cars???

2) and is the later rack the same as the earlier rack with the exception of the 2 mounting holes that are a bit wider apart??

art morrison uses the 79-93 rack (flaming river?) and it has 2 mounting holes....

I have seen some later units with 3 mount holes, what is this all about, cause morrisons only have 2??

 

Mercury Linx, Bobcat, and Pinto are the same too when i get parts for my front end i get 1976 Pinto stuff
