I'm going to be sending them back to Summit, they said they would replace them.
Yes, everything has been sorted out, hopefully I will get my flathead from the machine shop soon.To replace the tired little 21 stud.

So I finally got the last piece of the Zephyr bumper, the center part. Found it on eBay and bought it now. As soon as it came in I put it on.
I also took my car to work and went later on to Chris at Bexar Bones Shop Party on Friday.

The great thing about having Chris at Bexar Bones do all this metal work, he totally just thought of things I wouldn’t have ever done. The grill is so freaking easy to remove and reinstall. No nuts in the back or having to reach around. Anyways I removed the grill to give it a polish, it came out pretty good.

I do, the same color, but I'm having the painter darken it. I'd like for it to look black in certain lighting,

What an awesome car! The fabrication is top notch.

I can appreciate finding help who "gets it".

I need to ask a question here. Does installing this style grill create any issues with cooling the engine? I see these used in a lot of customs but never heard anyone speak to that. Cooling newer, bigger, more powerful engines being a concern I wondered about that.

I've been having issues, but right now I'm blaming the little 21 stud, I don't think it's ever been rebuilt, I have a walker radiator, electric fan, new bearing type of water pumps, replaced the head gaskets, I did all of this prior.
Now I have had some heating issues, but so far they've been my fault (never re-torqued the heads)
the metal fabricator forgot (he re-installed the generator low and loose radiator hose)
I drove it last saturday after re-torquing the heads and it felt way better, didn't over heat. Now I'm going to add a washer with a hole in it to have the flathead move water a tad bit slower.

I have another flathead engine being built, (59A 24 stud) I should have it back from the machine shop in the next couple of weeks to replace the tiny, tired 21 stud.
Sorry I hope I answered your question, so yes and no I'm having heating issues. Sorry

    Alex
