Did I miss it in an earlier post? How much did you chop it? I've seen pictures of a bunch of these Chevys with chopped tops and some of them are just chopped too much. I really like how you chop has turned out.

Yeah, the 3.42 with the t5 is an awesome combo with the 235. 20mpg at 70mph.

 

I was just wondering if you are planning to run fender skirts? I haven't seen any pictures with skirts on so, I'm guessing you aren't going to run them.

We just finished fitting them up, but I really don't think I am going to run them. I just prefer the symmetry of a wheel/tire combo at each end

These pics are from Friday. We had it in the booth at 4 and I was back on theroad at 7. Drove home and then to gambinos sit down where I unexpectedly won the "most improved " trophy for the car.; Big thanks to Brian and Kirk Jennings for the work.

I love how this went from being a "driver from Day One" back in May 2011 to what it is now. Funny how our intentions changed. When I bought my 51, I told me wife and club member to not let me touch it for the first year. One year to almost the day I bought it, it went from a 235 PG with nasty wiring to new 12v wiring, 327/T350 with a 8" rear, relocated rear springs and different tires and wheels. My intent was to drive it as is also...
