The wheels and hubcaps are Bronco II/ Ranger Pickup.
The bars out back are old-style traction bars.

    yup, traction not torsion. :)
How can you tell those are wheels from a Bronco/Ranger? Are they still 5 x 4.5? I tried to measure and that seems like it might be what they are. I need new wheels. Chrome Steelies and Radial Wide Whites 15in Reverse. Any recommendations?

  7. nice burnout yes ranger wheels are 5on 4.5 i had a older style set of ranger wheels on a parts 69 mustang i had now two of them are on my thunderbird

the hub caps on your wheels are the give away that they are ranger just go look at one in a parking lot or used car lot

those are cool traction bars you have on your car

  9. 1950 Ford 500 Custom Tudor Sedan ? - is this what the previous owner called it? Never heard of that before.

Not trying to get 'sticky' on facts, just want to make sure Im not missing something with the 50 Ford Models.

Like i said, I'm new to the 50's. I thought "Tudor" meant 2-doors. And "sedan" meant the longer roof-line than the "coupe" version. It is definitely a 500 Custom. I could be wrong about everything i type.

i "believe" based on what the previous owner said its a Ford 8in rear and the front seems to be a pretty much stock setup

  19. those wheels will look great on your shoebox

from the pic you posted showing the traction bars it loos like you might have a 9 inch rear hard to tell from the sun glare though

how do i figure that out?

  21. a quick way is by the ribbing on the center section 9inchers have more of a waffle look above the pinion

you can tell by measuring , but to be honest i dont know the different measurments

  22. Have you mounted those rear wheels up to the car yet?
